George Keen
Senior Consultant
George focuses on operation, implementation and training for the construction, materials handling, and agricultural equipment industries at Currie Management Consultants.
He has conducted seminars on equipment sales and account management and consults on operational improvements and implementation, especially in service, parts, and rental departments.
He designs performance management, compensation, incentive, employee productivity, and company turnaround plans and works with dealer principals and service managers in dealer 20 groups (Best Practice Meetings).
George joined CMC in 1996 and is now a Senior Consultant.
Prior to joining Currie Management Consultants, he spent eight years managing retail hardware stores and ten years at a company that developed software for the lift truck industry.
George was a pioneer in the use of computers in accounting at a number of his early jobs, helping to move small business accounting and financial operations to computer systems in the 1960s and 1970s.
Continuing this trend of innovation, George spearheads CMC's e-learning and web conference program. George has led Internet training for companies in North America, Europe, and Latin America and has saved clients thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of productivity by training far-flung staff simultaneously online.
These training sessions have covered all aspects of dealership business, industry trends, and employee performance.
